ACL injury for the Right knee
Hi, My sister met with an accident 4months ago due to which is she is suffering with ACL torn injury. As per the doctors suggestion we went for a POP for a month followed by arthoscopy. Post arthoscopy ,as per the suggestion the patient is following the exercises under the supervision of a physiotherapist. The problem is she is able to find the recovery but it is very little. Little improvement could be seen in Bend of the leg but The complete 100℅ straight leg couldnot be seen due to which the limping of leg is happening while walking. Please suggest how long it will take for complete recovery.

Hello there So it can be assumed that it is post 12 weeks that your sister is having limp while walking... Was the ACL tear partial? Was any meniscle tear involved? Does it pain for her when she bends her knee above 90degrees Was CPM machine used earlier in her bending protocol? What about stair climbing and coming down? Get back with answers for above questions....a proper rehab protocol is as important as the surgery. Regards
