ACID REFLUX- GERD
Hi Sir/Ma'am, I was diagnosed with ACID REFLUX last month.(Endoscopy report attached, symptoms:- Chest burn, chest pain, some sensation in throat). I am advised to take DEXILANT-60 MG every morning and AMITRITYLINE-10MG every night till August end and my condition is better than earlier. I am following all the possible dietary modification and lifestyle changes but still someday I am feeling that RANDOM CHEST PAIN back, not sure why. Also, I am getting GAS after eating and drinking anything, once I get BURPS then I feel relaxed otherwise I feel uncomfortable. does this PROBLEM takes very long time to heal ? Is it a lifelong problem ? Do I need to avoid all the required foods for lifetime ? is there any thing else needs to be done for GAS ?

Acid reflux Disease is a lifestyle disease so many lifestyle precautions have to be taken for lifelong . The symptoms should subside in a few weeks This happens because your body is giving you signs mostly that you are feeding it foods which are not good for it. Watch out for food allergies I.e foods that increase symptoms . It may vary from person to person . Milk , Tea , Coffee are amongst most common trigger factors If you can afford for this disease it is recommended to get full food allergy tests for your body as that will help you remove allergic foods from your diet. ( You should get these tests from some reputed labs for best results)
Next Steps
Continue meditations and watch for foods that increase symptoms
Health Tips
1.Avoid intake of oily and spicy foods especially at dinner 2.Keep a gap of atleast 2-3 hours between dinner and sleep 3.Have plenty of water atleast 3 litres per day , don’t drink water along with food , instead have half to one hour after food . 4.
