Accentuated cmd in one kidney
My left kidney is 6.9 cm and right kidney 10.9cm. Acr- 1.1 mg/g, creatinine 1 mg/dl. No bp, all other blood test are normal. 6 years ago one doctor said my case is congenital. As per USG, corticomedullary difference in left kidney is accentuated and in right kidney all normal. I am very afraid. What to do? Can it affect right kidney??

The left kidney is small and definitely not going to function.  In such kidneys , especially in congenital cases ,  there is a higher risk of damage to the kidney on the other side as well .  The  right kidney is working okay for now,but will need regular follow up  . You should visit a Nephrologist. They will evaluate and counsel for further treatment.

Yes there is a possibility that the left kidney is small from our birth that makes it a congenital problem and other is that there was recurrent urine infections or left side leading it to shrink called as VUR(vesico urethral reflex) it's better to get a MCUG after consulting with our doctor to rule it out
Next Steps
u should avoid pain killers and take a predominantly vegetarian diet
