Dark velvety appearance of neck and underarms is mostly acanthosis nigricans. Very common in obese individuals, pcod pts, hypothyroid pts and can be prone to get diabetes. Skin lightening agents like kojic acid, arbutin, glycolic acid can work well along with oral medication.
