Your scan shows that there’s a small pocket of pus (an abscess) near the left side of your back passage, and it seems to have formed a small tunnel that connects inside. This is called a fistula. It won’t go away on its own. You’ll need to see a surgeon to get it treated properly, usually by a small procedure to clean the infection and close the tunnel. If not treated, it can keep coming back or get worse.
