  4. About thyroid. Actually what tsh means?

About thyroid
Thyroid stimulating hormone observed value is 5.61 ...normal value ranges from 0.40-4.2 for age group 21-54 years..is there any chances of getting thyroid..actually what TSH means?? I have no other health problems still now.. plz verify my query.. Thanking you

Pls repeat TSH after 6weeks once again.  High TSH indicates low working thyroid, which leads to weight gain, increased sleep, hair loss etc.
