About rct teeth
I have episodic anxiety induced hypertension. BP goes up 160/120. Visited endocrinology nothing significant found . 24 hours abpm.normal. Doctor didn't prescribe any medication for bp Just prescribed anxioulytic . Today I have RCT for teeth .if there increase in bp due to anasthesia .what should I do?

Hello,, Physician consent before undergoing Rct is advised. And your Dentist will himself inject Plain Lidocaine fie the treatment. This will help in maintaining your Blood pressure as well.

So if anxiety is the only issue that can be managed so before the rct be relaxed ask doc to give a longer treatment time and there is no need to be anxious as now days rct is painless.

You can ask the doctor to give you plain Lignocaine, not with Adrenaline. And consult your physician before proceeding for the treatment.
