If missed the period and crossed the due date then do pregnancy test either by urine or blood.Bhcg is blood test and confirmatory also.If comes negative means no pregnancy then take tablet for withdrawal bleeding.

If periods are delayed, better to do a Bhcg blood pregnancy test..it's fairly accurate for detecting pregnancy...
