If the child has been started on meds & 4 days passed , you can restart milk while maintaining oral hygiene. As such there is no contraindications. I am assuming the baby is mainly on solid diets and milk is just given once /twice in a day .
Next Steps
Continue feeds as usual . Keep the mouth clean . Do not try to wipe away the white patches forcefully .
Health Tips
Watch for any increase , fever , or any other . Consult immediately. If occurs repeatedly, will have to investigate .

For oral thrush you can use candid mouth paint. Once the thrush is cleared you can start milk again.

In most cases of oral thrush in children, milk is not contraindicated. However, here are some important considerations: Breast milk: Safe and recommended. Contains antibodies (like IgA) that may help fight infection. Ensure nipples are clean and treat if the mother has nipple thrush. Cow's milk / formula: Not contraindicated. Maintain proper hygiene of feeding bottles and nipples. Rinse or clean the child’s mouth after milk feeds if possible, especially during active thrush. Fermented milk products (like yogurt): May help if the child is eating solids. Plain yogurt with live cultures (like Lactobacillus) may help restore normal flora. Summary: Milk can be continued unless the child shows worsening of symptoms or intolerance. Focus should be on oral hygiene and completion of antifungal treatment.
