Hello I need some clarification in ESR.i am done with my blood test(haemogram).my esr is 27 now n earlier(last august) it was 14.i don't know why it's 27 now.should I consult any physician? Or it happens generally.n other factors are normal in range.actually I have hypothyroid n taking 100mg. N from last one year I was in extreme stress n fear(anxious) n now it came to normal still its there for some point.for that reason my esr came high.because from last 1 year I deal with some problems like chest tightness,left hand shaking etc etc n consulted my physician too n they told all is normal n just told to reduce stress with some good habits.i recovered a lot.plz guide

Hi dear esr is a non specific test so it is okay if it's a bit high but if u have any other complaints currently please let me know so we can be sure that raised esr is not due to any current issue .
