About bcg vaccine
My child is 1month and 5 days old. She had bcg vaccine on 28th of March. But she doesn't developed any scare when bcg is given. Is it compulsory to develop scar when bcg injection is given . Kindly suggest

Not all babies develop BCG scar. Ten percent babies don’t develop it. And it takes around 6 weeks for the scar to develop

It may take more time like a month more. All babies don't get a swelling after BCG. There may be a small swelling which a pediatrician may be able to feel. So please visit a pediatrician and get it checked. If it is given by an experienced person, no need to give again
