Carotid pulsation is palpable at neck bilaterally in every human . Are you suffering from any other anxiety problem like pre-exam tension? Abnormal pulse rate can be due to some cardiac problem like atrial fibrillation / pulsus Paradoxus. Or pheochromocytoma or most commonly due to blood thyroid level fluctuation at your age . Either you can do "nothing" or go for a Thyroid profile test (TFT).
