Abnormal Behaviour
Hi, This is regarding my cousin. She is showing very abnormal behaviour since last 2 months and the situation is getting worse day by day. She is not talking to anyone, and not telling anyone what is the problem. In the beginning, she said something about someone said something bad about her appearance. She is not eating properly and her health is declining as well, it is hard to recognize her seeing her old pics now, and she doesn't even want to live. She is saying that someone is calling her (koi use bula rha hai) We don't know if she is seeing some ghost or what in her mind. Her family situation is also not good, they aren't that supportive and they keep fighting over things.

Hello, its good to see your concern about your cousin. As per the symptoms mentioned, she seems to be undergoing a psychotic illness(this would need confirmation though after a thorough assessment by a psychiatrist in person); which needs to be attended to immediately as there has already been a lot of damage in her physical health due to the same. Right now, she will require medications for which she should be taken to a psychiatrist. But if her family is unsupportive, and unable to commit to taking care of her medication regime, physical health etc, it would be better to get her inpatient treatment which is available at a no if govt and pvt hospitals in Delhi. Kindly do not delay in taking her to a psychiatrist. Good luck.
