Hello Doctor,
Wanted to ask regarding Abhyarab Rabies Vaccine. I completed my course after contact with a rodent (big)- no bleeding. Around Nov 3rd week 2025 completed the course; privately I took.
Recently last month there was a lot of news and in social media regarding the counterfeit rabies vaccine (Australian advisory) in social media.
Anything to do ?
Do I need to check my antibody titres?

In an immunocompetent adult, after completing a proper PEP schedule, antibody titres are not routinely required.

Such advisories are usually batch-specific and region-specific. Unless you received the vaccine from an unlicensed source or there is confirmed recall information for your batch, there is no indication for panic testing.
From a clinical standpoint, your situation does not automatically warrant antibody titre testing.

• You were on steroids or chemotherapy during vaccination
