A very small wound caused by rat bite
A very small wound caused by rat bite inside my house on 3-5-2017(almost one month back). The rat bit my toe at night. Wound was small but bleeding a little. Consulted Doctor and took TT injection, antibiotics and tablets to prevent infection. Also advised to take Anti Rabies vaccine, but i didn't. Anti Rabies Vaccine should be taken or not?

Rabies takes over within 10 days at max. If it's beyond that as you say it's already around a month then need not worry. But in future do not risk it as rabies if once happens has no treatment and you can have rabies by the bite of any wild animal who have rabies. Use insect repellent at home and mouse kill poisions. Avoud similar situation in future
