Needs to undergo surgery after her pneumonia gets well. Since paediatric cardiologist is not available in the current hospital where her pneumonia is being treated, she needs further referral for cardiac surgery. Please suggest! How risky is it for a 9 month old child to undergo surgery?

Now a days a Good pediatric cardiac surgeon can operate the babies as small as few days old. A cardiac surgeon can further advice u further about the exect details of the surgery.
But dont worry its not uncommon to do surgery at this age.
