I am 8 weeks pregnant & have dry burning throat from 10 days, no cold, no cough & no fever but I have little congestion is the throat. I consulted my gynecologist regarding this & she had prescribed me Allegra 120 - daily twice
Taxim 0 200 - daily twice &
Pan 40 - in morning for 5 days but there is no relief.
I see redness on the left side of my throat & dont have any problem while swallowing.
I met a physician today & she has prescribed me
Augmentine 625 - daily twice for 5 days
Pan 40 - daily twice for 3 days
Chymoral forte - daily twice for 3 days.
Is this dryness because of acid reflux?? I dont have vommitings but feel hungry at smaller intervals.
Is there anything to worry about?

You are already taking medication more than what you should take in first trimester of pregnancy. Just continue with that as you have just started. Antibiotics will take atleast 48-72 hours to act.
At this time of pregnancy i.e 8 weeks no position will be helpful so continue with what you feel comfortable.
Only thing you can add to your treatment is steam inhalation with plain water atleast 3 times a day.
Next Steps
Consider online consultation if required
Health Tips
Keep eating every 2 hours in smaller portions. Avoid tea and coffee, also any sort of self medication.
