8 mnth child 2weeks fever
My 8 months old niece is having persistent fever for the past 2 weeks. It normalises on give antipyretics but repeats in a 8-10 hours or so. She has a normal diet but skips meals sometimes. Also she vomited about 2-3 times. A blood test report showed a high lymphocyte count of 58. Also she traveled about 400kms just last week. Although comfortably, i wonder if it affects. What can be the reason? What do you suggest? Thank You in advance.

It could be prolonged viral fever or simply due to dehydration. Also traveling does take a toll on the health. Give her a good diet and plenty of rest
Next Steps
Keep in touch with your pediatrician. If she has been in touch with pets, other cause of fever like brucellosis may have to be ruled out
