Stones can cause pain or may remain asymptomatic.they can cause urinary tract infection.urine examination routine and microscopic detects it and if present require treatment. Stones if impacted anywhere in urinary tract may cause functional derangement, should be assessed by a functional study like IVP or CT Urography,if present, active removal is warranted.
