8 days newborn not passing stool
My baby is 8 days old from past 2 days she has not passed stool however she is taking frequent breast milk and formula milk also urinating 5-6 times a day. Please confirm how long can i wait for her to poop and what is the normal frequency for new borns to poop?

It’s normal for a new born to pass once in 7 days also . If baby is passing gas no problem . Give breast feeding evry 2 nd hrly

Yes its normal to pass till 5 days but watch for danger signs like abdominal distension Try to give only breast feed 2 hrly Avoid formulas
