8.6mm calculus in left kidney
I was all good and suddenly late night my stonach left side part started aching severly... In morning it got wrsen as i woke up with severe pain like absolutely not tolerable... I went to hospital where they said m having stone issue .they gave me injection and glucouse and aftr one hour or more pain strted being less and aftr sonography it showed that "left kidney reveals moderate hydronephrosiswitha calculas measuring 8.6mm noticed in distal ureteric region.. what should i do?

8.6 mm stone have less than 50 percent chance of passage with time. Good minimally invasive techniques without incision are available now a days with fast recovery. However few cases may pass stone but risk of not passing and kidney damage remains.consult urologist in the locality for full evaluation
