6th week vaccination
Hello doctor,
My baby was born on June 21,2022. Her birth weight was 2.03kg and now she is 2.5kg. She is due for her 6th week vaccination . Can we put vaccine for her now or should wait until she reaches 3kg? Should this vaccination be done before 50days of birth?

Yes can take the vaccination.
If the child is healthy then can take the vaccination after crossing 3kg weight also but it depends on the physical consultation with Pediatrician and how he/she feels that whether to wait or not.
Main concern is the weight gain. Child should have crossed 2.75kg by now so need to concentrate for feeds and weight gain of the child. Better to take an opinion related to the same.
