6 MO baby gal is nt digesting Lactogen 2
Hello dr, My baby girl completed 6 months on 3rd of May.Since then,we have started giving her Lactogen 2 as my breast milk is not sufficient for her.just after every feed of formula milk, she passes stool (sometimes water only n sometimes white chunks in it).we also have given her Entromax 10ml for 4 day in total.Today someone suggested us to try Aristozyme.Bcz of covid we cant visit any paediatric as we are in rural area right now.though baby is active, but still i can feel a difference in her weight. Also,we are giving her homemade ORS as well.Request you to pls guide on this if we need to change the formula milk or is it normal if baby passing motion after feed.

I can fully understand your worry. 6 plus months baby should be on complementary feeds... and passing motion after each feed is ok in such babies provided weight is not lost... no blood in motions..  and baby active.. https://youtu.be/xjeqvtztnkq I have made a dedicated video on this topic.. please watch it on my vlog.... for  full answer to your query.. I am sure you will be satisfied.

I would suggest you to start complementary feeding rather than resorting on Formula feeds. Its alright for Babies to pass stool after feeds dont worry its part of digestion process.i wouldn't suggest any Enteromax or aristozyme. If ur baby is active and passing good amount of urine your baby is fine..
Next Steps
Stop Formula feeds and start complementary feeds. stop all other medications which are not required.
Health Tips
Discuss with Pediatriacian online on what and how to start complementary feeding..
