The junction of food pipe with stomach is a valve which doesn't allow food to regurgitate back once it has reached the stomach. In children this valve is physiologically weak. Most don't require treatment and improve with age. Few require medical treatment like Domstal as prescribed to you. Very few may require surgery to strengthen this valve. The surgery is called Fundoplication.
Next Steps
Consult your pediatrician. If the weight gain is adequate and there no frequent chest infections then it is better to wait and tide over this period. We may undertake a special test called barium swallow to confirm diagnosis. He/she may refer you to you a Pediatric surgeon for opinion.
Health Tips
It is essential to rule out hypertrophic pyloric stenosis which can also lead to persistent vomiting. This condition leads to rapid deterioration of the baby and knees urgent surgical correction. Once operated the child remains fine thereafter.
