5 month old diarreah
Hi my daughter is 5 month old ,she started having diarreah on thursday evening with grainy stool liquid and mucous,by friday morning i saw some blood so i took her to pediadrician, who said she has an infection and needs antibiotic. Also since my daughter is exclusively formula fed (aptamil gold stage one)because i did not lactate even small amount of breast milk with any of my kids.,he asked me to change it to soy milk.He prescribed Taxim O suspension syrup,Zn20,and enterogermina. For milk i was asked to switch to Isomil.I started the treatment and today on Sunday her stool now looks like jelly with ,not runny but some speck of blood is still present. How long do i have to continue soya milk and how long it will take the blood to go away. Also when her stool will look normal?I have attached two photos one is from the first day and the second one is from sunday evening.
