My daughter is 5 days old and has a Billirubin 17.7 in total . Is this Alarming for a 5 days kid . The doctor requested to admit her immediately . Please help.

Different parameters are taken to calculate the intervention required.
For a term baby of good birth weight with no blood group incompatibility, this amount of bilirubin may not be alarming.
But let your treating doctor examine the baby for other parameter as well.
