Yes for infants it's fine it take time . U hv to give a detailed history regarding stools before naming it constipation . So please tell in detail
If he is feeding well , gaining weight , passing urine normally , what feed is he on whether he is breastfeeding or top feeding . As all these factors determine whether he needs investigation or not . Because infants may not pass stools for 2-3 days and it can be normal . If associated with any problem we may need to investigate .

breastfeeding every 2 hourly // atleast 8 times a day
night time feeding is recommended
feed him from one breast completely after emptying and then from another. burp after every feed.
if on top feed u hv see for what feed u r choosing for him , maintain hygiene , proper mixing and dilution as adviced .
