4 months baby screeching for no reason
Hi doctor,
My four-month-old baby is screeching / yelling for no reason. He is well fed , but he still keeps yelling.
Is this normal ? Please suggest.

Please ensure these things first
1. Baby is not hungry
2. Check the diaper
3. Check temperature
If any of the above is present, manage accordingly
If you cannot find any reason, there are mainly two other reasons:
1.Stomach colic(pain)
2. Pain elsewhere in the body like ears,etc
Next Steps
Try to distract the baby with help of cradle or walking around.
Following medicines can be given safely
1. Colicaid(for stomach discomfort)
2. Paracetamol for pain elsewhere in the body

Both of these medicines can be given simultaneously, if the baby cannot be consoled
