3rd episode of Mania. From last 5 days?

My brother in law is suffering from his 3rd episode of mania since April 18. His first episode was in 2013 and second in 2017. Although he is 80% fine now and unfit 20% of his is relatively very calm and non aggressive as compared to situation a month back. Why does he experiencing mood fluctuations once a day for around 45-60 min from last 5 days? Is this alarming or these fluctuations will happen till he gets completely normal. Also it has taken 70 days and change of medications and dosage for him to get back to 80%, how long can we expect him to get back to 100%. He is current medication is - diva od 750 twice a day, lonazep 2 mg once a day and risperidone plus 1.5 tab a day Sleep - Uninterrupted 6 to 6.30 hrs a night and around 1.30 hours during day.
