Is it always necessary to undergo ORIF in minimally displaced 3 fracture in proximal humerus.
If I go for conservative recovery, may I get stiff shoulder joint and can it be recovered by physical therapy.

Conservative treatment is known to cause stiffness and disuse muscle atrophy as your limb will be immobiliser for 4-6 weeks.
Also malunion or non union is common with conservative measures.
Surgery allow early rehabilitation and predictable union results along with with near normal reduction.
