UPT is not very specific test...it also has very high false positive rate also...
BHcg doubling and sonography are more specific.
Or it happens In conditions as I mentioned in ectopic pregnancy, some intrauterine very early pregnancy which lost their viability ( missed abortion) very early before detection.....
UpT remain positive 1-2 weeks after abortion n even after delivery

2nd faint line can be seen in very early pregnancy, failing pregnancy or ectopic pregnancy.
Next Steps
If no bleeding or pain abdomen thn wait for another 2 weeks and get a scan done.
