24 days old having a bulge on her neck.
Hello my 24 days old daughter is having a bulge on her left side of the neck. There's no pain ..the neck movements are also good. Im attaching her ultrasound report. Kindly check and tell me what is it. Im worried. And what should i do. I had consulted a pediatrician the doctor said it could be milk which got accumulated there. But ultrasound is showing some sort of soft issue. Kindly help.

It's a hematoma - either traumatic or some other cause. Will need surgery evaluation.

Seems to be blood collection due to some form of injury. It can be birth injury also, nothing to be done currently. If the swelling size increases, further tests to be done.
