19 months Not speaking
Hello my son is 19 months but he didnt speak much he only says mumma mumma n in his own language he say something but didnt try to say bye bye or papa nor even bhai or dada...is it something i need to worry.whom should i consult.please advise.he listen to me reacts also ,shouts show anger also but he didnt speak anything except mumma.

First you should get BERA for hearing test done, if it is normal then only you can proceed with speech therapy

There is nothing to worry u just need to keep speaking to him frequently encourage him to speak.every child s different.so no need to worry

Usually kids start speech development after 18 months of age, I don’t find any reason in your case to worry about. I would suggest wait and watch as you mentioned his other developmental milestones are normal.
