13 month baby with no teeth
Hi Doctors, my baby is 13 month old but still have no teeth. I heard that we need to wait till 18 months. My question is shall I continue giving him vitamin D drops and iron drops which doctor prescribed till 1 year of age? Will that help in getting teeth?

Delayed dentition is defined as failure of eruption of teeth beyond 13 months If your child teeth fails to appear beyond this time, check for thyroid function test , growth hormone deficiency and vit d deficiency Meanwhile continue calcium and vit d supplements

Yes you can continue vitamin D and iron if you want. There is no harm. Vitamin D and calcium will help in teeth formation. Please visit a pediatric dentist. Teeth will definitely erupt in due course

You can give syrup with vit d and calcium. If vit d deficiency is delaying teeth, it might help
Health Tips
If no teeth erupt by 15 to 18 mnths, may be investigated for vit D deficiency, thyroid deficiency, local factors etc
