How much time do we need to feed the baby on each side ?
She sometimes feed for 10mins and mostly she sleeps while latching... Then if I keep her down she immediately start crying for milk or else she will sleep for 1hr n then ask again.. this usually happens during day time..
In night, she feeds for more than 25mins on each side of breast and still she cries for milk and doesn't sleep...
I don't understand her pattern and in take...

15 to 20 minute on each side is enough. But if baby sleeps halfway while feeding then she should be fed on the same side which she was feeding . But again these things are helpful for baby of less than 6 month. For your baby she is 1 year. So she need more of complementary food rather than milk . If she cries for milk only then you have to slowly change her habbit to eat more food than milk . As for 1 year old child 3 to 4 time breast milk is sufficient .

Feed for 15 to 20 mins on each side minimum. Initial milk is very sugary and thin and is not enough for growth of the baby. Later milk is thick and fat rich and necessary. You can also give all food that you eat at 1 year of age. Otherwise poor sleep may be due to indigestion. Give colic drops.
