100 days old Breastfed baby not pooping
Hi, my son is 100 days old and he is not pooping since yesterday. He is pooping only a drop of motion. His stomach is soft. He is only breastfed. He is passing gas and crying while passing gas. He is also urinating once in an hour per day approx. He used to poop many times a day usually and this is weird to me as this is first time he has not pooped for a day. How long can we wait for him to poop? Is this condition normal??

Babies have huge variation in pooping. Those babies who are on breastfeeds can poop either 10 times in a day to the other extremes of babies pooping only once a week. Both variations are normal. As long as the baby is comfortable, feeding well, passing urine well, there is nothing to worry

Hi, There is no need to worry, if child is comfortable, feeding well How is your breast milk production? Mother needs to drink plenty of water and include fruits and vegetables in the diet Breast feeding mother  should avoid eating junk foods If you have changed your dietary pattern also, it can affect baby's motion Continue breast feeding You can wait as long as baby is not irritablev
