1 year old baby feet
My baby started walking at 15 months age. Now he is 16 months. When he is walking we could see feet is not touching completely and seems be walking with inward side of the feet. Whe he stands and walks from back side it is seen that ankles are turned outward. Attached photos. Is this normal at this age and improve over time. Searching this coming like overpronation etc. Please advise

Hello. Many babies have flattened arches of feet when they start to walk an have a shape of feet as u shown in pics. Many of them correct these arches gradually till they become 7/8 yrs of age. Please allow ur child to walk barefoot at uneven surfaces. This will allow his feet muscles to work and regaining the normal shape of foot. Sometimes we prescribe arch support in shoes. Usually there r no long term consequences. Please visit hospital once for clinical examination. Best wishes
