1.5 year old vomiting,fever,loose motion
My son is 1.5 year old (9 kg) & he is suffering from loose motion from last 4 days. Fever & vomiting is stopped. Doctor has given Enterogermina tubes, econorm powder,vizylac 60 ml syrup for loose motion but still there is no change & he is doing watery loose motions 10 times in a day. We are giving him coconut water,apple,banana,upma,rice to eat but after eating in a few minutes he is doing loose motion.
How much more days required to stop loose motions ? Let me know if any other medicines required to stop his loose motions.do I need to admit him in hospital?

Better visit hospital. 10 times per day loose stool will cause dehydration if oral intake is poor. 1.5 yr kid cant take enough amount of oral liquids. Watch for urine output. If decreased urine output,plz consult doctor soon.If required u can get stool microscopy and culture, if its infective better treat it with antibiotics
