Dr. M. Sundari started her profession as a clinical physiotherapist at Sooriya Hospitals, Chennai. She worked in Sooriya Hospital from 2001 to 2004 as a rotational physiotherapist. Later in 2005 she worked in physio vision for almost 6 months and went on for specialization in Neurodevelopmental Therapy and Sensory Integration at The Spastic Society of Tamil Nadu for a year. She worked in SRMC, Porur and also worked as a consultant physiotherapist in pediatric care in a couple of clinics in the year 2006. She started her private practice at Gokulam Child Development And Rehab Services since 2007. She has also done international certification in Neurodevelopmental Therapy, Aquatic Therapy, Sensory Integration, manual therapy and recent advanced treatment strategies which would benefit the children based on their presentation/behaviour. She treats children with delayed in developmental milestone, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, other genetic disorders, learning disability, etc. She is heading the team which includes occupational therapy, physiotherapist, psychologist, special educator, speech therapist. All the facilities are available under one roof. Our motto is service to children and helps the children to cope with the day to day needs, socialize, communicate for their basic needs and above all to become functionally independent in their life. They have Learning Center (Gokulam School for Children with Specific Learning Disability and Cerebral Palsy which was established in the year 2012) which mainly focuses on children from 0 to 8 years of age., to promote development in all domains like ADLs, Cognitive,Socialization and Fine and gross motor areas, the school focus on parent centered. referred to a normal school. They believe in parental guidance and also provide inputs to parents, a home programme to them. We welcome parents to become the active participant in the therapy time. Recently they added functional vision therapy and psychological counseling for parents and adults. Gokulam has now expanded the services by extending another 1000 sq. ft. in the ground floor to focus mainly on Women’s Wellness, Geriatric population and Adult Rehab focusing on Movement Health and Wellness. Treatment includes recent advanced treatment techniques such as Kinetic Control, Manual therapy after thorough clinical evaluation of the patient condition. Our mission is “Optimising the Movement Health!” Of all domain of people!Aquatic therapy for orthopaedic condition like frozen shoulder, back pain, knee pain, sports injuries rehab and fitness, postoperative orthopaedic, neurological problems like spinal cord injuries,stroke, balance problems, coordination,cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD, etc. Are treated with greater functional outcome!

Gokulam center is an excellent space for all kinds of therapy. Sensory integration is a very specialised field and Sundari ma’am is very well experienced in this field. She is very kind to the kids and also transparent which makes parents feel at ease. A parent is very happy to see their child relaxed and enjoying while receiving therapy . I highly recommend this center to all.

A very parent friendly approach by Ms.Sundari, my kid, who is generally aloof from people, is specially attached with her. I can feel the improvement in my kid's behaviour right from the beginning. We almost a month into the Therapy and my kid exhibits significant improvements. Individual attention to every kid in practice makes Gokulam a unique place to trust with our kids.

I bought my son here 6 months back.. he is now improving a lot in communication and writing skills.. Ms. Sundari way of teaching makes kid understand the process.. and it has been an eye opener for my son.. i am sure this training will help him to improve his inter personal skills.

The consultant took enough time to observe the kid while interacting with the parents. She developed causual conversation with my kid and later went into professional assessment. After the assessment she explained about the problem and the treatment plan.

I have visited Dr. Sundari two years back for my daughter's speech delay problem she underwent therapy and the problem was solved very soon, she recovered very fast ,its all because of the effort and experience of the therapist .But unfortunately there was a wrong feedback being posted due to some error or mishandling of my mobile by my daughter. I feel sorry for the wrong feedback from my side.please kindly ignore the wrong feedback. Dr.sundari is a well experienced therapist .

He is better now and reduced hyper also but some times he is self talking and shouted in classroom,he didn't know awareness. e.g.. classroom,teacher

Dr. Sundari plans her activities with the child based on child's mood and responsiveness. The place is hygienic and maintained very well during this situation. Its not the 1 hour that she is working for my son. She spends time before and after thinking, planning and strategizing treatment and various techniques that will be customized for my son's needs.
