Pros:

+ He was good and quick in identifying the problem area and immediately suggested the steps for recovery

+ The medicine he prescribed had worked really well on my 7 months old baby without causing extra troubles like vomiting, stomach ache etc.,

Con(s):

- Not exactly a con, but the doctor is very quick - this might be a problem for some as they might miss out the details on the go.

- Derived from the above point: It will be awesome if can be a bit slow and talk to the patients to extract more inputs.

Verdict: As the results are satisfying, I would visit this doctor in future.

I would say this hospital is not for immediate or urgent consultancy. We waited for about two hours to meet doctor and baby was crying was almost an hour, place also crowded with so many people

Doctor gave several medicine for stomach upset for 8 months baby and after receiving thise medicine my daughter got loose motion several times* *** ****** ** ***** ***** ** *** *** ***** ************* **** ***** ** **** *** ***** **** **** **** ** *******

Booked via Practo.. Wait time was exactly 30mins.. Very cool handling.. Took time to read patient history.. Explained what to expect and what signs should be considered serious.. Assured it is not serious now..Explained the syrups and their use and dosage clearly.. All of this in 4 to 5 mins.. Didn't feel like it was short or in a rush..

Dr Kumar is a very eminent pediatrician. As mentioned in other reviews YES!! He talks less ,so parents may think he has a careless attitude towards the child which is not completely true.

I know him since 4 years and as all other parents I too in the beginning felt him to be a bit hard. But just by looking at child he diagnosis the problem and recommends exact treatment. Never prescribes unnecessary tests or neither panics the parents or attendants.

I stay at ambathur, but for my son who is 3 years I do not take a chance with any other doctor other than Dr Kumar, as I am very sure I am at the right place and my child is in safe hands.

I would definitely recommend him to all .

We met this guy for high fever and rashes for my 9 month old baby and the reckless attitude he showed made me to write this review. I dont have anything against him its just his careless attitude which is his pain point. I am not even going to type about the medicines he prescribed and if my baby is cured or not.

This is the first time I ever saw a child specialist doctor getting so agitated for asking questions. He was so interested in checking his whatsapp rather than showing the basic courtesy of answering honestly. He doesnt talk much and we didnt expect him to exchange niceties. All we asked were valid questions and he just didnt bother to answer it as he was so busy with his phone. This happened thrice and all 3 times we experienced the same notorious behavior from this guy. Final meeting was the pinnacle as there were no patients waiting and we were the first one to meet him.

He was showing no interest on hearing to our questions and was so arrogant in his answers with whatever he heard. My wife and myself decided to not to meet him ever after coming out of his clinic on that day. It was such a bad experience and he showed complete neglect on a 9 month old baby.

Bottomline: He is not money minded, but he is so arrogant, doesnt talk much and gives lots of attention to his whatsapp, fb posts and youtube videos. Its the bane of technology and internet. A person who should be responsible and treat little babies and kids with utmost care, if he shows this reckless attitude, then god save the common man from these doctors. If you are looking for some care and explanation on what your baby/kid is going through, then please dont even try visiting him.

Before we took our son for the first vaccination, we had been informed by many of our relatives on how painful it will be and how much the kids will find it.. But he made us so comfortable and clarified our doubts patiently.. We were at a much relaxed state during and post vaccination.. the kid did cry but we were much comfortable and confident to handle him. Thanks.

I have around 10 + years exp with this doctor, he seems like harsh or moody but he will be able to understand the problem, by just seeing the patients .

Doctor was really polite and friendly the treatment he described was really more effective also he was listening to my problem and provided solution clearly without any hurry burry

We have been visiting kumar sir from past 3 years for both of my kids. He treats well and diagnosis is good.

Great doctor.
