Dr. George Palackal graduated with Ph. D in Counselling Psychology, major in Clinical Counselling from De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines in May 2015. “Internet Gaming Disorder Among Adolescents in Metro Manila” was the topic for his Doctoral Thesis. He has 10 years of experience as a Counselling Psychologist. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is the Main Theoretical Orientation he uses in Counselling. His services include Counselling for Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Impulse Control Disorders, Internet Gaming Disorder, Mobile Phone Addiction, Social Media Addiction and Adolescent Problems; Career Counselling; Psychotherapy for adults; Pre-Marital Counselling; Marriage Counselling and Family Counselling. Besides providing face-to-face Counselling, he also offers Online Counselling and Psycho-Education Seminars for High school and Hr Sec School students on topics such as Mobile Phone Addiction, Purpose of Life, Time Management, Self- Discipline etc. He is a Member of the Association of Psychological and Educational Counsellors of Asia (APEA) as well as Conference of Catholic Psychologists, India (CCPI). He belongs to the Religious Order of the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel. His Counselling Sessions are in English, Tamil or Malayalam. He is the founder director of Montfort Counselling & Educational Services (MCES), Chennai. As he is appointed as the Executive Secretary, Montfortian Education Secretariat, Global Office in Bengaluru, he has relocated from Chennai to Bengaluru and practices Counselling as his passion at the Montfort Spirituality Centre, Indira Nagar, Bengaluru.
