Dr. Rajini Kantha

The founder of R.K Eye Centre has performed thousands of cataract and intra ocular lens implantation surgeries in the last 35 years. She is a pioneer in phacoemulsification surgery which she mastered under Dr. Dennis Shepard at Santa Maria, USA in 1994. She is highly versatile and can perform glaucoma, squint, lacrimal sac surgeries, retinal cryopexies and all types of LASER procedures. She founded and developed the department of Uveitis at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. She has 21 scientific papers to her credit.
