Dr. Lipika Roy

Such a gem of a doctor. Visited for my daughter's eye problem after 2 unsatisfactory opinions at two of the biggest eye care hospitals in the city. Just came to know about Dr. Lipika Roy after googling about Paediatric Ophthalmologists available in the city. Glad that I came to know about her and happy with the treatment progression so far. So friendly and spends good enough time with the patient to understand the concerns. She was happy to answer all of the questions which we had since my daughter is just 2 years 5 months old and we as parents are so worried about her. She told us not to worry and let's take the treatment step by step as the kid is so young. A Much relieved parents after meeting the doctor and we are so grateful to her. All we expect is basic humanity from the doctor and she is all about that. Very few of such doctors are available these days. Definitely I would suggest Dr. Lipika Roy to my friends/ relatives who are in need.

Dr Lipika is a very friendly person, my son is a special child with seizure disorder. Last time he was having redness and swelling in his right eye and he was in constant pain and unable to open his eyes. We took him to Dr Lipika and she has attended him withing 5 to 8 mins though there were patients waiting before our number. She prescribed few drops and ointment and after that she told to keep her update at regular interval. And when i was updating her over Whatsapp, the very best part was she was also responding though she said she will be travelling to Delhi. But to avoid any bad situation she said to me that she has already discussed with Dr Parthasarathy on this issue and if my son is not opening his eye in next day, i can go to the clinic to meet Dr Parthasarathy and giving suggestions which makes us feel confident and happy. This is really service at its best. I would recommend her to all my friends and relatives.

Myself Chaitanya, what a pleasure meeting doctor like Lipika Roy . Professional, crystal clear explanation of my problem and followed all the govt. regulations at this time of pandemic . Gave supplements and added to that she gave a natural diet to suppress my problem.

I had a prolonged dry eyes problem. Dr. Lipika patiently listened to my problem, conducted required tests and prescribed the right medication and lifestyle tips. I felt safe and assured and can already see positive results of the medication. I am confident that my problem will be resolved permanently if I follow doctor's advice on food, lifestyle and medication and I am consciously following it.

I had come for treatment for my 1 year old daughter for eye watering to Dr lipika, she had come highly recommended as the best pediatric eye specialist in Chennai. Initially she gave eye drops and massage for 2 months..she then suggested a minor procedure called probing. It was a short anesthesia and within 3 days the watering stopped.Thanks to Dr Lipika and Staff of Centre For Vision Eye Hospital for taking care of my daughter.

I felt her like my family member and she was so polite and she spoke to my mom in a gentel way that my mom was so happy and she answered all my moms questions very politely. I met with my Family at the Eye Center and here is the Feedback.

1- They have started checking vision ******* ****** *** ***** ********** they were so eager to check the vision r***** **** ****** ***** *** *********2- We (Me, My wife, and 20 days baby) all were suffering from Madras Eye and Dr. Lipika has hidden this in the first visit and started giving treatment (not sure what treatment). It's almost 20 days now and we are still suffering. She started asking to visit every 5th day ** **** *** *** ****** ** ***** ******

We have lost our vision now. Not able to watch the Laptop clearly and still so much water is coming from both of us Eyes. Irritation and itching are a lifetime process now. **** **** *** ****** * **** **** *** ** *** **** *** *****

I had a very bad experience with this doctor. Below are the problem i do see,

- Will not allow us to sit and explain the problem. We went for my kids eye irritation. But she check eye power and asked to take a coronal topography test for cataract test.

- She asked to come for follow up checkup. When asked for reason she told need to check the eye again.

- In follow up consultation again then checked the eye power and wrote the prescription.

- Finally we told that we can for eye burning problem then she said nothing and just a drops.

I was surprised by how organised everything at the hospital was. I had visited some of the biggest chains of Hospitals in India and I was extremely disappointed by the way they function. But at centre for vision once you take an appointment everything will be taken care of by the staff.

They are extremely cordial.

The procedure has been explained very elicitly by my Dr.. I had zero tension on the day of my procedure. The procedure started and ended so fast and it was absolutely painless. Post Surgery my vision is 6/4 which is better 6/6 and results are excellent. I would say it's worth every single penny. I would totally recommend this hospital for they are experts at what they do.

They diagnosis the problem well. Medicines prescribed for vitamin D costed Rs.1300. ** ***** ** ***** *** ***** *** **** ** ********
