The first time I visited doctor, I had a dissociative episode at the end and she extended the session to ensure I was okay. She is very empathetic and accommodating to my personal needs and requirements. She let me dictate the pace of the session and never forced any process or system on me. There were many times where I had an anxiety episode during the session, Doc managed it very well and taught me very many coping skills when it happens. The most important gain from taking sessions with her is that she helped me face my anxiety and negative cognition in a format that suited me.

Let me begin with how grateful I am, that Swetha is my therapist. She has been a backbone to my emotional health. ❤️

When I first met her, she made sure to get an idea of my problems from not just my perspective, but also my mom's.

The problems I faced were quite varied..starting from insecurity, low-self esteem to anxiety, family matters and even sexual issues.

Swetha took her time to get an overview and decided to focus on matters that needed urgent attention.

She began to deal with my problems one by one, helping me understand why I felt a certain way and how I can deal with my impulses.

She would give me assignments, teach me various techniques (which I still practice)...especially for my anxiety and headaches.

Currently I've been practicing JPMR, light streaming exercise and tapping.

I went to Dr.Shwetha for anxiety, depression and staying in a rut for over 4 years. But I stayed because she wasn’t sugar coating that everything will be okay overnight or judging me for who I was, She made me reflect on my own self from within , my thoughts and my actions that make me who I am. With every session I started to take baby steps while understanding where my maladaptive behaviours stem from, learning resources to help me tackle my anxiety, and that’s when things started to change and my life began to change too.

I have been on medication for a long time but did not always have guidance to living a (physically and mentally) healthy life, Dr Shwetha helped me do this. She helped me put systems in place to better deal with whatever issues I face and helped me achieve consistency in my routines.

I wasn't always a consistent patient with following her advice but she was always kind, patient and very understanding. I even recommended her to a friend of mine, who now also takes therapy from her.

Doctor Shweta is extremely patient and gives through explanation to the patients issues. She will ask to introspect and learn why one is feeling negative etc. Her attention to detail is unmatched.
