Ms. Rini Jacob

Rini Jacob is an experienced child psychologist and behavioural therapist working with children with autism, developmental disorders, learning difficulties, cognitive deficits, depression and anxiety. She has experience involving psychological assessments (Intelligence, Learning Disability, and Personality) and behavioural and cognitive therapy. Her areas of expertise include behavioural training, cognitive training, social skills training, and stress management. She is experienced in working with She designs individualized therapy plans for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), intellectual developmental disorders (IDD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorders (ADHD), Global Developmental Disorders (GDD) and Learning Disabilities and difficulties (LD) and children with behavioural issues. She has two and a half years of work experience overall. She has completed her M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from Christ (Deemed to be) University. She worked as a psychologist and behavioural therapist at Shiloah Therapy and Learning Center from June 2019 to August 2021. She has been freelancing and working as a consultant child psychologist at Yogaksema Stress and Lifestyle Clinic since October 2021. Her objective is to equip clients with life skill tools to approach cognitive, emotional and behavioural difficulties. She utilizes the child’s strengths to address challenges and problem behaviours. Her therapeutic interventions are child-centred and evidence based with the aim of strengthening positive behaviours and skills.
