Ms. Pavithra Duarai Raj

I started my sessions with Dr. Pavithra Durairaj nearly a year ago, and it lasted for 11 months. The sessions had been extremely beneficial to me.

I am an 18-year-old girl having issues approaching people and considering people to be my greatest fear. For this reason, I was not able to go out freely and could never ask any stranger on the road for help. I used to get extremely stressed even while talking to my classmates. I was very shy, and when people asked me out for something, I didn't know how to react, thus messing up things, and they used to get offended. Sometimes I wasn't able to say no to my friends on things that I was not comfortable with doing (being non-assertive). Moreover, I used to presume about how people would think about me if I shared something with them. This made me frustrated and angry every single day since I was not able to share my feelings with anyone. Due to this, I never used to talk or occasionally, if needed. This is why I couldn't make friends and ended up being lonely throughout my childhood and teenage years.

I was very comfortable with Dr. Pavithra Durairaj. I still remember our first session, a year ago. Within a few moments, she understood my problem. In fact, she got hold of the neck of my problem. She was extremely polite to me and a great listener, as she never interrupted me while I was sharing my issues with her. She told me to maintain a record of all the silly thoughts that came to my mind while approaching people. Now when I see the journal, I laugh on myself thinking 'I used to be like this!'. To make me understand certain things, she used to give me examples that had a realistic existence and a logical base. She never jumped from one solution to another. In fact, she gave me time to apply those in my life and used to see the outcome of the same, and then moved on to the next step.

I can see a lot of improvements within me. Now I can feel the brighter side of me. I'm just the exact opposite of what i used to be in my past. I can easily approach people and talk to them freely without any fear. I could also make friends and never feel lonely anymore. Also I'm able to control my anger now.

Meeting Dr. Pavithra was a turning point in my life. I am very glad to have had sessions with her. She made my mental health way better than before. I'm a 23 years old man, and recently i consulted devine nature care for therapy sessions, the problem i was facing was breakup, after being in a relationship for a pretty long time we had to break up, and i was not able to digest it, i was constantly putting myself low, i was regretting the things I've done, i was looking at myself like I alone brought it up on me. After being like for this for more than an year, i wanted to put an end to this and start changing things, then i started consultation with Dr. Pavithra, after going through the consultation i started realising a lot of things, the wrong perception i had about myself, and the negatives which were holding me down, i was able to accept things, i was able to overcome them and bringing the best out of me.
