Dr. Sindhura Aiyappa (PhD)

We visited the Doctor for strained and unhappy marital relationship .Doctor was extremely patient in hearing both our side of the stories. She also explained the reasons which cause stress in life and how stress aggravates and affects the relationship. We were given tips to ensure we give equal time and importance to all aspects of life , personal , social , emotional , mental and spiritual. She also helped us identify positives in each of us and encouraged us to let go off baggages and start fresh by dedicating couple time every day . It was a satisfactory meeting and time well spent letting off pent up frustrations and feelings . We are hopeful of positive changes ahead in our marital life.

She follows holistic approach in her treating and does not believe in concept of only popping pills is way for cure. Along with counseling she has command-able knowledge in yoga and meditation techniques. She’s non judgmental and unbiased while listening to clients struggles, which makes clients to feel free and honest while discussing their problems with her. I would definitely rate Dr Sindhura 10/10 for her commitment and compassion in healing her clients.

I went for marriage counselling to Dr. Sindhura and I must say, she's someone who listens to you so attentively and patiently.

Joint session with my husband was very effectively handled - Not only she tries to understand core issues by probing right questions at the right time, she also suggests simple and efficient tips so relevant for the situation at hand!.... This was my first time in therapy and I'm really glad it was with Dr. Sindhura Aiyappa!

She's super warm, friendly and compassionate. She makes you feel very comfortable and creates a safe space for you to express yourself. She's a great listener and helps you understand and navigate your issues competently. I honestly felt super relieved, hopeful and positive post our session. I loved that she followed up to see how I was doing and gave me tools to better myself daily.

I have developed many good qualities from dr sindhura aiyappa ,I was suffering from different problems,I was not ready to accept the things positively ,I used to show my frustration and angry to everyone but after going to Dr sindhura I have completely changed,the way dr consulted me and the friendly way she treated me made me so happy I had gone to councelling for 8 months that 8 months was my very precious and memorable days with dr sindhura, I always say my changes are due to the suggestions of dr ,so all credit goes to her ...thanks a lot dr sindhura aiyappa.....

It was my first therapy session and I was not sure what to expect. But I felt very comfortable with Dr Sindhura. She was open to listen to what I had to say. And analyzed pretty quickly what I was going through. I liked the perspectives she gave to the thoughts that were making me anxious. Her suggestions and homeworks that she gave me proved to be really helpful.

Something I really liked is that she keeps in touch even after the session.

She provides you the warmth you need as a friend or someone you can trust rather than a strict corporate doctor-patient relationship. I really liked that. I also loved the hug she gives after the session.

I am not all healed but now I know I will be fine - I can feel that positive impact after the first session itself.

Through Practo I took an appointment with Dr. Sindhura Aiyappa of Antarman for my martial issue, in first few mins felt I'm getting the comfortable counseling more than I expected. At first I was hesitant to share my problems with Dr. Sindhura but in no time she made me feel comfortable and gave guidance and motivation to over come the problem. When I booked my appointment with Dr. Sindhura I was confused and emotionally feeling very low. Though I was trying to remain positive and engaging in activities to keep my spirits up it was a struggle on a daily basis and I wanted to know why I was feeling these highs and lows. How to overcome it.

In just two sessions I got the answers to why I was feeling low and what can help me . That helped immensely.

She also helped me understand why it's important to understand my emotions and how I would be able to connect with myself better and others when I do so. She advised me on a few simple techniques. I feel I am more aware and mindful of my actions, my emotions and those of others who matter to me.

Dr. Sindhura's advise/counselling has helped me immensely to connect with myself, understand and accept my emotions wholly, making me a much more conscious and mindful person.

Her advise helped me unclutter my mind and understand how to navigate through my emotions and not neglect or ignore them. I am still learning through observation and practice.

It was a very insightful session with Dr. Sindhura . She understood the problem at hand . She could easily recognise my pattern of thoughts. She gently helped me think clearly with her questions and explanation. She made me comfortable and at ease so I could openly talk to her.
