Ms. Rachana Menon

Rachna Ma'am was very patient with me .She identified the problem and kept asking me whether her interpretation was right .Sometimes she would describe all the mess in my head with just two three words making me try to help myself in understanding the cause of the problem and change the stimulated effects of it .There was one class where I absolutely broke down she made me feel better telling me that it was OK. All the small but meaningful activities like mood chart,self esteem journal and meditation activity was something fun and new to try.I hope its left an equal impact on me too.Rachna ma'am listened to me giving me a different perspective of the problem which maybe my parents would have looked at with a slight bias .

I contacted Ms. Rachana for dealing with stress and anxiety related to my office work. I found sessions with her really helpful in understanding what mistakes I was doing in my thinking and the mental blocks I had. She also helped me with right set of exercises both breathing and mental ones to tackle the stress and anxiety. Additionally, I find the frameworks she shared with me really helpful. The sessions were spread out sufficiently over 8 weeks and at the end of it I have come out as a much stronger, confident person with better awareness of my goals and clarity with regards to how to tackle a new situation. I thanks the doctor for her help. I will keep a tab on my progress based on conclusive recommendations shared by Ms. Rachana.

I was charged 1 thousand for a Counselling which went an hour long, which I didn't ask for. I haved raised this as a concern with Practo already. Doctor is friendly as a Shrink is expected to be like. She shared some good to know knowledge and I would like to thank her for that. Didn't help me much but can definitely help in other cases.

Rachana is a great listener. She listens to what you have to say with utmost patience and then counters the thoughts you have with facts rather than assumptions. She makes you think whether it is worth having these thoughts. I did find a difference after talking to her. It has helped me start leaving the thoughts that affected me behind and venture into the possibilities of healthy future. I would recommend her 100%.

I really valued the quality of help that i received from Dr rachana ,her friendly nature and her understanding of the problem/issue her practice activities ,advice and breaking down the problem into bits and explains with examples have really helped me and moreover having her just a call away made life very easy for me during this stressful period of my life. She has an aura of comfort and safety around her which makes way for a smooth onboarding especially if it's the first your first time. She is an avid listener, which gives you the comfort that she cares about you and not just going through the mechanics of a job. She is an empath and that's when you realise someone understands you.

The remedy was self observation for a week and 4 more sessions thereafter costing 1000 each. I was sent with an unwritten prescription of self observation for a week and note it down, we will discuss this in the next session which will cost another 1000.

I have been diagnosed with Depression and Anxiety for over 2 years now but never was about to find the right therapist to help me through my issues. But with Rachana ma'am, I found the right counselor who not only helped me through my issues revolving around stress, depression, anxiety, Interpersonal relationships but also helped me gain a new perspective, and by the end of my sessions, I was doing so much better. Her activities during the session as well as after the session really helped me understand, manage and work through my emotions. I have already been recommending her to all my friends and would definitely do so to others as well.
