So, I had a ligament tear in my left knee and I got operated in Dec 2017. Post one month, when I was asked to start my physiotherapy to regain the original strength, I searched for various doctors in Bangalore, had 2-3 visits at different physio clinics too, but some of them were too costly or couldn't deal with the ligament tear problem. In my hit and trial process of going to different doctors, one day, I consulted Dr. Vrushali and she easily grasped what I came for. As soon as she examined the condition of my leg, she told me to leave my entire progress on her and she assured me that I would start walking normally without limping in 5-6 weeks. By the way, when I came to her clinic for the first time, I used to walk with a stick always and limp because of the acute pain I had because of the surgery. However, in just one go, I was pretty satisfied with her diagnosis because she seemed quite experienced in such cases. Overall, I had some 11-12 sessions with her, starting from 2-3 sessions per week to gradually 1 per week/2 weeks as my rehab progressed. Talking about my progress in detail, I left my stick in the next 10 days from the start of rehab and my walk kept on getting better and within 1.5 months, I was able to walk normally without any limping or persistent pain. Even today, I am pretty much satisfied with the treatment I got because she herself planned the entire programme for me, be it the initial phase, the middle phase or the last least risk phase. The only problem you might find is getting an appointment with her because she has a lot of patients coming to her clinic, however, her experience is what accounts for her proper diagnosis *** ********* **********
Visited For Knee Pain
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
I had visited Dr. Vrushali Raut for a recurring knee pain. I had initially visited an Orthopedic and a Physiotherapist in one of the bigger and reputed hospitals in Bangalore, who had diagnosed (post and XRay etc.) that my patella (knee cap) had gotten skewed and had slipped from its position, which resulted in abrasions in my cartilage. The ortho had said that "We will need to take an MRI to see the problem, and as the cartilage will not grow back by itself, we may have to operate and insert a fibrous cartilage in its place.. blah blah.., but if you wish, we can try with exercises for a month or so...". So the Physio there suggested some exercises and asked me to meet her directly after 6 weeks.
I was'nt satisfied.. (obviously...!!), and hence visited Dr. Vrushali Raut on a cousin's recommendation. My first visit to her clinic itself convinced me that I was in safe hands. She not only explained the actual issue to me, but also explained the reason behind the pain, logic behind those specific exercises and the correct way of doing them. She took pains to draw the exact position of the bone on my knee with a pen, and showed me how it was slipping every time I bent it. She also asked me to visit her every week in order to increase the intensity of the exercises, and within a month I was completely pain free. But she is still behind my back to continue exercising and strengthening my musles so that the issue does'nt resurface. :) Kudos!!
Visited For Tendonitis PhysiotherapyTennis Elbow Physiotherapy

I was struggling with triceps tendonitis and tennis elbow issues for almost 4 months because of overuse injury (badminton and gym). I visited multiple physios and underwent IFT and Ultrasound sessions to no avail. There came a point where I was hardly able to lift a water bottle. I then reached out to Dr. Vrushali based on a friend's referral . She did the initial assessment and explained the issues in detail and course of treatment that we will take, including multiple muscle release and strengthening sessions. Though it took much longer to heal than expected due to some of the root causes of the pain being a chronic issue, I finally got rid of the pinching pain in my tendon and tennis elbow area and I am now happily able to lift weights in the gym again. Thanks to Dr. Vrushali, Dr. Ramya and the team to help me with the whole recovery process. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vrushali to anyone in Bangalore who needs to undergo PT. Especially for ppl with chronic issues, it worth the long trip even if the place is too far from your home.
