Dr Rajendran SC is one of the senior-most dermatologists in bangalore city, with a career in dermatology spanning over forty years. He started this journey as an undergraduate from St. john’s Medical College, and went on to complete his Masters in Dermatology at Bangalore Medical College, with a Diploma from Mysore Medical College. Thereafter he joined as faculty at St John’s department of dermatology, where he served for over 19 years, eventually as its Professor and Head of Department, before moving into private practise. He is generally considered by his peers as a pioneer in the field of LASERS in dermatology, credited with being one of the first dermatologists to bring this technology to Bangalore. His passion for Lasers has lead him on numerous international visits to some of the best centres in the world, such as in Israel, South Korea, Germany and the US. understandably, his clinic boasts a collection of advanced Laser technologies unrivalled in the city.He is highly respected in the dermatology community, having helped train a number of dermatologists who are in active practise today. He was conferred Indian Association of Dermatologists, ( I.A.D.V.L.) -Prof K.N. Sidappa Lifetime Achievement Award in the year 2018, in recognition of his lifetime of service in the field of dermatology . He had earlier served as President of Bangalore Dermatological Society (B.D.S.) in the year 2004-05. Further, he has conducted numerous workshops and delivered lectures on Lasers at national and international conferences. Of note, he was the Workshop Committee Chairperson in Dermacon 2019, the National Conference of Dermatologists of our country, having also shouldered this responsibility in 2000, 2007 & 2013He also takes an avid interest in photo-dermatology and paediatric dermatology. He has been an examiner for the Rajiv Gandhi University Dermatology examinations and also a university recognised teaching faculty throughout his career.

It was the worst experience i had with any doctor. The doc dint even ask or check with me the concerned issue. When i went and said about the acne concern..the doc's assistant startef writing prescription nd both were deciding "lets give one face wash,1 face gel and lotion and all". I repeatedly asked the reason for blots but none were responsive. The doctor asked me to get the medicines immdtly frm downstairs nd calls nd inform the chemist guy, who started forcing me to buy the medicines then itself saying doctor said u have a severe problem with your skin which needs to be checked immidiately.
I would never rrcomend this doctor yo my enemies even, leave alone family.
If you hv lot of money nd for sake of going to some dermatologist do visit him.
Visited For Melasma Treatment
Since 2010 i am facing melasma issue. Dark spot on my check and nose. I am giving this feedbavk after 12 session of medlite Q switch laser. 1st session i was feeling good , spot was invisible for 2 weeks but again came back. Upto 5 session it was effective for very limited time - only 2 weeks after laser session.
From 6th session they increase charges from rs 2000/- to 2500/- only for particuler spots. Now its 3k i didn't find any changes after laser session. Tried all kind of melasa cream and chemical peel. I lost the after laser sessions.
I visited Dr. S C Rajendran for eczema on my legs. The consultation was quick and personalized, and he spoke to me like a friend while clearly explaining the treatment plan. The clinic was clean, the staff were polite, and I felt the consultation was good value for money.
Dr S C Rajendran is one of the best dermatologists I have visited. His fees are very reasonable, and the treatment is excellent. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Highly recommending Dr. Rajendran Recently visited Dr. for skin treatment were in doctor is very cool and friendly to understand or listen to our problems and more over he will make us to understand/ educated us about the root cause of the problem which makes the patient to be aware of what treatment he will be going and solutions we get.I have got very good results within the 1st session of the treatment and very very happie for the same. also the clinic as high quality services and best technology with equipment in the Bangalore very cost effective and affordable in terms of the procedures nd pricing of the services compared to any other clinics. thanks Dr. rajendran and the entire unit in clinic.
The doctor does not devote much time to a patient. I went for an appointment immediately after office and had difficulty in finding the place. Due to that, I was 5 minutes late. The first thing he said after seeing me was you are late. You won't be counseled now. Come again with another appointment. After requesting he agreed because we were three people who went. One of my friends had already been to his place once and consulted before. The medicines were not working and he was again charged Rs. 400 as the consultation fee. So basically just to recommend costly medicines which don;t work at all and to be able to see him for a minute, he charged Rs. 400 again. Would never recommend anybody for this.
